Electrical Technician - Luapula, Copperbelt, Lusaka

We are seeking a Electrical Technician / Technicien Électricien to join our dynamic team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various industrial and commercial environments, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality regulations. Missions:

• Install, test, and maintain electrical equipment in accordance with technical drawings and specifications to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
• Conduct regular inspections and safety checks to verify adherence to electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to support the installation of new electrical systems and upgrades.
• Accurately document all interventions and prepare detailed technical reports for record-keeping and compliance purposes.

This Electrical Technician position requires an experienced candidate capable of efficiently managing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems while ensuring strict compliance with current safety standards and regulations.

Profile:

• Required experience level in the electrical or technical maintenance sector, ranging from less than 2 years to over 10 years.
• Required educational background: technical school, college, HND, bachelor's degree, master's, or doctorate.
• Proficiency in English, with a good command of the language.
• Relevant industry sectors include electrical engineering, energy, electrical systems engineering, civil engineering, and development projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Technical expertise in the installation and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and schematics accurately.
