Our client is seeking a person that can work on a part-time basis as a Financial Consultant that can ensure the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial records, compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and the provision of financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line-manage Junior Accountant (JA): plan, review, and guide work
- Review JA Sage Pastel & FlexPayroll entries; direct corrections
- Review draft financial statements; ensure accuracy
- Advise on PAYE, ITX, WHT, VAT, Smart Invoicing
- Prepare draft tax computations/returns for MD approval
- Identify risks, discrepancies, and compliance deadlines
- Advise on cashflow, pricing, and financial performance for consulting business planning and development
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance; 5+ yrs SME experience in Zambia
- ZICA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA (part or full)
- Strong ZRA, Sage Pastel, FlexPayroll knowledge
