Job Summary:

The Head of Information Technology will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of World Vision Rwanda's information technology strategy, ensuring that the organization's technology infrastructure and systems are aligned with its mission and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with World Vision Rwanda's mission and goals
  • Lead the development and implementation of IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and network security
  • Manage the IT budget and ensure that IT resources are used efficiently and effectively
  • Supervise and mentor IT staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that IT solutions meet the needs of the organization
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve World Vision Rwanda's IT systems
  • Ensure that World Vision Rwanda's IT systems are secure and compliant with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for IT use, security, and compliance
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and implement IT-related policies and procedures
  • Provide technical support to World Vision Rwanda staff, including troubleshooting and resolving IT issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with IT vendors and partners
