About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Information Technology to lead our IT team in Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and technical expertise to ensure the effective use of technology in supporting our programs and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to the IT team
• Develop and implement IT strategies and plans to support business objectives
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve business processes
• Manage IT budgets and resources
• Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and partners
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends
• Mentor and develop IT staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT leadership or management
• Proven track record of success in leading IT teams and implementing IT strategies
• Strong technical skills in IT infrastructure, software development, and data management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
• Ability to travel within Rwanda and internationally as needed
