Job Summary:

The Head of Information Technology will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of World Vision Rwanda's information technology systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of World Vision Rwanda's information technology systems and infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT team.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
• Ensure the security and integrity of World Vision Rwanda's information systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the effective use of technology in achieving World Vision Rwanda's goals and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in IT.
• Strong technical skills, including experience with cloud-based systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
• Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda.
• Ability to travel within Rwanda and internationally as needed.
