Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team in Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal controls, as well as identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with World Vision International policies and procedures.
  • Identify and report any areas of non-compliance or risk.
  • Develop and implement audit plans to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Language Skills

  • Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda.
  • Knowledge of French is an added advantage.
