Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Officer to join our team in Kigali, Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics of our operations, including transportation, inventory management, and supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods and materials to and from our facilities
• Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock is accurately recorded and reported
• Develop and implement effective supply chain management strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve logistics-related issues
• Develop and maintain relationships with external suppliers and logistics providers
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to logistics and transportation
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics or a related field
• Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Ability to travel frequently
