Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operation and Planning Specialist to join our team in Kigali, Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and develop corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles, including planning, scheduling, and inventory control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel to remote locations as required
