Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Managing Director to lead our microfinance institution in Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve organizational goals
• Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve business objectives
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulators
• Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage the institution's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Identify and mitigate risks to the institution's operations and reputation
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in microfinance or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record of success in leading business growth, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
• Strong knowledge of microfinance regulations and best practices
• Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
