The Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology (M-ICT) is seeking to recruit a Network Administrator to be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Ministry's network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the network, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing network security measures.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Implement network security measures to prevent unauthorized access
  • Develop and maintain network documentation
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth operation of the Ministry's IT systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in network administration
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Experience with network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
