Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Coordinator to join our team at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE). The Research Coordinator will provide administrative support to research projects, coordinate research activities, and ensure compliance with research regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to research projects, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and managing databases
  • Coordinate research activities, including scheduling research visits, arranging logistics, and ensuring compliance with research regulations
  • Collaborate with research teams to develop research protocols, obtain necessary approvals, and ensure compliance with research regulations
  • Develop and maintain research databases, including tracking participant data, managing research records, and ensuring data quality
  • Provide training and support to research staff on research protocols, regulations, and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure research projects are aligned with organizational goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, epidemiology, research methods)
  • At least 5 years of experience in research coordination or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of research regulations, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Institutional Review Board (IRB) regulations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research software (e.g., REDCap, Epi Info)

Qualifications
