VisionFund International is a leading microfinance institution that provides financial services to low-income households and small businesses in developing countries. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resource Development & Management Advisor to join our team in Kigali, Rwanda.

Job Summary

The Resource Development & Management Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies to support the growth and sustainability of VisionFund International's operations in Rwanda. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of securing funding from a variety of sources, including donors, investors, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement resource mobilization strategies to support the growth and sustainability of VisionFund International's operations in Rwanda
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities from a variety of sources, including donors, investors, and government agencies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, investors, and government officials
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial plans to support resource mobilization efforts
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective implementation of resource mobilization strategies
  • Provide technical assistance and support to other teams as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, or a related field
  • Proven track record of securing funding from a variety of sources
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, investors, and government officials
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
  • Ability to travel frequently
