About Us:
VisionFund International is a global network of microfinance institutions that provides financial services to low-income households. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resource Development & Management Advisor to join our team in Kigali, Rwanda.
Job Summary:
The Resource Development & Management Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies to support the growth and sustainability of VisionFund International's operations in Rwanda. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of securing funding from a variety of sources, including donors, investors, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement resource mobilization strategies to support the growth and sustainability of VisionFund International's operations in Rwanda
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities from a variety of sources, including donors, investors, and government agencies
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, investors, and government officials
- Develop and manage proposals, reports, and other materials to support resource mobilization efforts
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of resource mobilization efforts
- Provide technical assistance and support to colleagues to help them develop and implement resource mobilization strategies
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, international development, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, or a related field
- Proven track record of securing funding from a variety of sources, including donors, investors, and government agencies
- Strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, investors, and government officials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
