About Us:

VisionFund International is a global network of microfinance institutions that provides financial services to low-income households. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resource Development & Management Advisor to join our team in Kigali, Rwanda.

Job Summary:

The Resource Development & Management Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies to support the growth and sustainability of VisionFund International's operations in Rwanda. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of securing funding from a variety of sources, including donors, investors, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement resource mobilization strategies to support the growth and sustainability of VisionFund International's operations in Rwanda
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities from a variety of sources, including donors, investors, and government agencies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, investors, and government officials
  • Develop and manage proposals, reports, and other materials to support resource mobilization efforts
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of resource mobilization efforts
  • Provide technical assistance and support to colleagues to help them develop and implement resource mobilization strategies

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, international development, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, or a related field
  • Proven track record of securing funding from a variety of sources, including donors, investors, and government agencies
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, investors, and government officials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
