Head of Information Technology — World Vision Rwanda

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Information Technology to lead our IT team in Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the IT department, ensuring the effective use of technology to support our programs and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to the IT team, ensuring the effective use of technology to support our programs and operations.
• Develop and implement IT strategies and plans that align with World Vision Rwanda's goals and objectives.
• Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
• Ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems and data.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support our programs and operations.
• Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role.
• Strong technical skills, including experience with hardware, software, and network systems.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
• Experience working in a non-profit or humanitarian organization is an asset.
• Language: English is the primary language of communication, but proficiency in Kinyarwanda is an asset.
