National Individual Consultant - Public Health Emergency Programs
UNICEF is seeking to engage a National Individual Consultant who will provide essential technical expertise and grant management support for the execution of key public health emergency programs.
Contract Duration: 3 months
Working arrangement: Office Based

Terms of Reference
This consultant will also play a pivotal role in facilitating the rollout of the UNICEF country office's comprehensive PHE prevention and response strategy, thereby contributing to the strengthening of Uganda's overall health security framework.
Minimum requirements
Education
- A Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Global Health, Health systems strengthening, or related field
Work Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in public health emergencies or a related public health field
- Demonstrated experience in managing large complex grants from multi-lateral and bi-lateral donors.
- Demonstrated experience in providing technical assistance to Ministry of Health
Language requirements
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills
- Experience in facilitating multi-stakeholder coordination and technical consultations
- Familiarity with Uganda health sector systems and structures
- Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines
Desirables
- PRINCE2 or PMP or other professional certification in program management
