Social Protection Policy Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Protection Policy Officer to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the Social Protection team in the development and implementation of policies and programs that promote social protection and poverty reduction. The officer will work closely with government agencies, development partners, and other stakeholders to ensure that social protection policies and programs are aligned with national and international standards. The officer will also provide technical assistance to government agencies and other stakeholders to strengthen their capacity to design and implement effective social protection policies and programs. The officer will work closely with the Social Protection team to develop and implement a comprehensive social protection strategy that addresses the needs of vulnerable populations, including children, women, and persons with disabilities. The officer will also provide technical assistance to government agencies and other stakeholders to strengthen their capacity to monitor and evaluate social protection programs. The officer will work closely with the Social Protection team to develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework that ensures the effective implementation of social protection programs. The officer will also provide technical assistance to government agencies and other stakeholders to strengthen their capacity to communicate and disseminate information on social protection policies and programs. The officer will work closely with the Social Protection team to develop and implement a comprehensive communication and dissemination strategy that ensures the effective communication of social protection policies and programs to stakeholders.
